Prints, colour, perfect fit and unexpected accents and features; The Givenchy 2012 Resort collection was a true showing of amazing design ability by Riccardo Tisci. Im also loving the way the collection was presented in what looks like an open street lane.

RUNWAY TOP 6 : MATTHEW WILLIAMSON FALL 2011

Matthew Williamson's signature boho chic aesthetic wasn't missing on this years fall runway, it just bought some tuff luxe friends (and then some). Although not getting rave reviews, I enojoyed the bold mixing of prints, feathers, leather, fabrics, colours and fringes...normally too much for one collection I think he did really well in blending all the elements and maintaing a cohesive look.

Inspired by a Russian artist and Mongolian culture, it was at least a good deal more bright and upbeat than alot of the other showings...and I even liked the shoes and sock look for once, how bout you?

LOOK OF THE DAY : PRE FALL BURBERRY PRORSUM

Normally fairly stale the poses of pre-fall and resort always get a bit more movement for the Burberry collections.Really liking all those big coats with accentuated waste lines and mashes of colour, pattern and texture.

This look is from Stella McCartney's Spring 2010 RTW collection (via style.com) I love the detail on the shoulders and the colours in the print. Very fresh and sexy but looks like it would be super comfy; always a bonus.
