RUNWAY TOP 6 : GIVENCY RESORT 2012
Prints, colour, perfect fit and unexpected accents and features; The Givenchy 2012 Resort collection was a true showing of amazing design ability by Riccardo Tisci. Im also loving the way the collection was presented in what looks like an open street lane.

HANDMADE BUY OF THE DAY : HELLO. ALSO, I LOVE YOU
I don't think I'd ever get tired of walking past this print if it had a spot on my wall. Also a very nice gift idea for your special fella/lady friend. It is an original, hand-pulled Linocut print from the clever Georgia over at The Big Harumph Etsy store. Buy your very own print here for US$20

RUNWAY TOP 6 : STELLA MCCARTNEY RESORT 11
Lacy frocks, boxy coats, colour blocking and some fresh and bold floral prints all went into the mixing bowl for the cake that was Stella McCartney's 2011 Resort Collection. Style.com reports that: Resort is an optimistic, hopeful season for McCartney. "I love early spring; everything's alive again and growing." she said. "I think the clothes reflect that."
I thought the collection was mature and elegant with killer accessories (heart the simple shoes and every single bag!) So what can we can gather from this showing? well, that Im looking forward to the season being fresh and subtle with an elegant pallette, floral prints and sophisticated tailoring, oh yeah! and its all about legs legs legs!...(at least we in Oz have a little time to whip our own stilts into shape)
