While on the subject of Rue, I was sticky beaking in their Facebook photos today and came across a whole bunch of great wordspiration so I thought Id share them all at once.

COVER TO COVER : VOGUE AUSTRALIA MARCH

I fell in love with this months cover of Vogue Australia today while grocery shopping, snapped it up ASAP, and just spent a classic lazy summer afternoon leafing through its pages in front of the fan with iced water on hand! Great use of colour, pattern and the soft yet bold alternating text hues. Shot by Nicole Bentley, it features model Alina Baikova wearing some of this season's most recognisable stripes from Prada. Hope you all got to indulge in a lazy Sunday too!

HANDMADE BUY OF THE DAY : CLUTCHING AT FLOWERS

When I discovered the Etsy store RedRubyRose it took a while to decide just which beautiful purse to feature as a handmade buy of the day! There is such a huge range and each clutch is beautifully made with such inspiring original prints and designs. Handmade by UK based Rowena, the store is well worth a browse!

Ever been inspired by cutlery? The idea for this photography/typography poster hopped into my brain one day as I was hunting around in my kitchen draws. Almost has a Christmas-festive feel yes? I was thinking maybe framing it as a Kitchen/Dining room print

PHOTO SHOOT STYLING

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of helping a friend style a photo shoot for her final Honours assessment at QUT.
Shot in natural light with the talent of Nicola Poole behind the lens and the bubbly Gaelen in front, the morning went by quickly without a hitch (but with plenty of tasty breakfast snacks!)
It was nice to work with all the girls including make-up artist Shelley Veitch and I think the shots turned out just as planned...
Here are a couple of images I snapped mid-shoot for you all to get a taste of Miss Emma Price's amazing eye for detail in her pieces .
