SIP IT SLOWLY/YOU'LL BE BLOWN AWAY

Recently I was looking through the September 2007 issue of Harper's Bazaar Australia and came across a feature on artist Tokujin Yoshioka and his amazing window display (below top) 'remembrance' an installation for Hermés in 2004. So beautiful, it looks like the product is floating on clouds. In it's creation over 500,000 clear straws were used.

He has recently done a second installation that was on display at the Maison Hermès in Japan up until January this year. The woman (a famous Japanese actress) is captured on a large screen and the scarves are set up to softly sway in time with her movements. Very cool.
