With New York Fashion week underway and all the Fall runway trends beginning to emerge, I thought now was a good time to collate my pick for Spring's (which for us here in Oz is more like Autumn trends) top 10 looks that I think we will all be wearing in the next few months! This is one trend you can't miss! Its been warming up for a while now but this season it was splahed all over the runways. In particular bold shades of orange, red, berry, coral and shocking pink were most popular. Definitely one to try!Make it bold, make it bright, just make it noticeable!

Hair can sometimes feel like your best friend and your worst enemy all in one day. That's why I love this trend! Even if you are having the worst 'bad hair day' a headband, or more drastically a hat, can fix all your problems and still be the statement in your outfit. It is such a quick (and affordable) way to add style and what's more this trend is actually functional and can transcend seasons! Springtime: headband those beachy waves, Winter: tame the frizzes and keep your noggin warm with a knit beret. But don't stop with just the headband (that's been around on the fashion scene for a couple of seasons now) this trend is all about bigger and better, shinier and more colourful things. So dig out those bejewelled bobby pins,clips, bandanas and headscarves and embrace this excuse for more tame hair!

TIP: Want a Marc Jacob's-like-bow without the empty wallet? how about heading down to your local fabric store and grabbing a remnant of shot silk to tie back your tresses? or feeling a little extra creative? grab a brooch and try for Chanel's couture look. Get crazy with hair bling this weekend!

I was recently asked by a friend of a friend to do the photography for a makeup beauty shoot. Taneal Bobbermien is an emerging makeup artist who is in the throws of setting up a site and organising advertising. So last Sunday we spent a very long day with a group of girls getting some really nice pics. At this stage I still have half left to sort through (about 700 photos!) but can't wait to share them here so stay tuned! This is one of my favourites from the day of lovely Rachael.
