RUNWAY TOP 6 : MULBERRY PRE-FALL 2011

A totally wearable and translatable collection, Mulberry's first Pre fall show was a wonderful mix of english school girl charm, feminine confidence and 70s touches with a perfect on-trend silhouette. Im loving the look of the impeccable tailoring, especially on the coats with the waist cinching belts and the mix of metalic sparkle wih the more subdued heavy fabrics. A win for creative director Emma Hill. (runway shots via style.com)

LOOK OF THE DAY : DEREK LAM S11RTW

A double shot of Derek Lam this morning. I love the first look, a 70's revival with clean lines and a 'Charlie's Angels' feel (so on trend), but had to include the second as I think this is one of the few great examples of denim on denim actually done in a stylish way and looking good!

LOOK OF THE DAY : ALBERTA FERRETTI TOP TO TOE

I really liked the look of the Alberta Ferritti runway shoes in this weeks Milan show. The whole collection was feminine and romantic with plenty of throw-back to 70's style floral prints and floor sweeping dresses with crochet knits and other 'hippie-chic' elements.
Do you think this means we should swap out last season Gladiator style sandals for some more lady-like straps? I hope so!
