For the last couple of weeks I have been styling portfolio shoots for new Brisbane company Charlie Archer Model Management. Here is my fave shot so far, of the lovely Edith (Photography by Henry Coughlin, hair and Makeup by Sara Broadhurst)
Happy December 1! How this year has flown by! I've set aside time tomorrow to deck my halls and can't wait for the silly season ahead. Merry Christmas everyone (tree from the always creative Martha Stewart)
Vintage-look shot of Anja Rubik by Marcin Tyszka for Vogue Latin-America. Entitled 'La Musa de OntoƱo' is it more Marilyn or Eddie? styled by Sarah Gore Reeves (Trendnista)
Couldn't resist adding some more eye candy from Rue part deux. This time its lingerie designer Jessie Zinke's abode, absolutely adore those dining chairs! so different and beautiful. Happy Wednesday!
Well the Holiday Issue (number 2) for Rue Magazine is out and once again full of inspiring peeks into the well decorated homes of creative types. My favourite was Fashion Designer Katie Ermilio's studio space. Love the white bricks with that fireplace in the middle...
Another pic from the Paolla Rahmeier shoot I blogged about a couple of days ago. Photographed by Jacques Dequeker ...great angle, great styling, amazing light technique
You might remember a couple weeks back I did a post on a shoot I helped style for my friend Emma. Well here are the finished products! Congrats to Em on finishing her final assessment!

Hope you all indulged in a lazy Sunday...Paolla Rahmeier photographed by Jacques Dequeker for Marie Claire Brazil (Styled by Juliano Pessoa and Zuel Ferreira) via Trendnista
Was it Lady Gaga or a 90's revival that brought back the body suit? Twilight or True Blood that brought the Cross back into fashion? Whatever it was these mini trends are definitely making a comeback. (Check out yesterday second 'shop the look' for tips on how to wear it right)
Lets ere on the side of caution ladies; avoid the fishnets and stripper heels with this look and keep it classy. Check out online stores MyCatwalk.com and Beginning Boutique for a good selection of body suits available now
Ever been inspired by cutlery? The idea for this photography/typography poster hopped into my brain one day as I was hunting around in my kitchen draws. Almost has a Christmas-festive feel yes? I was thinking maybe framing it as a Kitchen/Dining room print
There was a lot of floor sweeping on the Spring runways recently and I couldn't be happier as this means a continuation of last summer's maxi revolution. Added in this season will also be some calf skimming lengths and toe-touching skirts; with plenty of colour and prints. This time around the trend is also a little more relaxed and body friendly - you will see more covered neckline choices and room to hide bra straps.
For an up to the minute look team your maxi frock with bejewelled sandals or some lace up wedges and add a piece of statement jewellery as frosting.
Perfect for times when you forget your fake tan or 'misplace' your razor, this one step outfit is the ideal failsafe summer style staple. So whether bright and structured, flirty and floral or hobo chic, the Maxi dress (and skirts) are every woman's friend this season and should be on your 'must have' shopping list!
LUST HAVE TREND : CELEBRITY STYLE
Katie Holmes, Ashlee Simpson, Nicole Richie and Chloe Kardashian
Tea-shirts! hilarious love these cool cuties via Yanko Design. They were designed by Soon Mo Kang; very clever, each colour represents a different flavour and they come in that amazing packaging box.
Relaxing in a Tea bath, another super clever and cute tea-bag adaptation, my fave is the fashion crowd and Create your owns but check out more here.
Perfect Chrissy presents for the tea lover in your life? (seen via the violet hours)
